A journey through the chakras: 13th October 2018, 10am-1pm, Gaia, Roath. An exploration of prana theory through movement, breath work, philosophy and meditation to give an understanding of the different chakras and how they relate to our overall sense of well-being.
Bandha in Asana 10th November 2018, 10am-1pm, Gaia, Roath £25 An introduction to the concept of the energetic locks or seals, known as bandhas. Explore the key philosophical concepts of bandha practice, their relationship with the subtle or pranic body and the anatomy behind these intricate systems through posture and pranayama. Engage the bandhas to allow energy to flow and develop a strong, stable core that supports the body as it moves; enabling a sense of lightness both on and off the mat.
A gentle and restorative practice that creates a bridge between yoga and meditation; encouraging you to slow down and come back to the mind, body and breath. A grounding session of gentle stretching and more deep, passive postures followed by a guided meditation or yoga nidra to help nourish the body and still the mind.
A breath-led, mindful practice, suitable for all levels and abilities combining slow flow vinyasa and classical posture work weaved with more restorative and yin poses to strengthen, stretch and restore; focused on cultivating awareness and alignment to help find that balance between effort and ease.

It is a traditional Indian massage technique developed by the Kalari Martial Artists of Kerala India (Kalaripayattu) and is considered to be approximately two thousand years old.
It combines a series of assisted yoga stretches and acupressure massage to stretch and ease tension in the muscles whilst working the energy or ‘sen’ lines of the body.
An ancient traditional head, neck, shoulder and face massage. This massage can be performed with or without the use of oil whilst you sit comfortably in a chair. A nurturing treatment aimed at relieving mental tension and fatigue while nourishing hair and scalp.
Swedish massage is a classic treatment using a variety of techniques to improve circulation and soothe muscles to ease tension and promote relaxation.
A deep-tissue massage targets specific areas seeking to correct imbalances in soft tissue which generally arise from repetitive and strenuous activity and can aid with recovery from injury or postural stresses.
